This is Google’s higher end and larger of two models released in 2015 (the smaller and less expensive model is the Nexus 5X reviewed here: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/phone... ). The Nexus 6P has an attractive unibody anodized aluminum casing and a slim design. It’s a big phone with a 5.7” QHD 2560 x 1440 AMOLED display. It has the top of the line 2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 ocata-core CPU with Adreno 430 graphics, 3 gigs of DDR4 RAM and your choice of 32, 64 or 128 gigs storage.
The phone is unlocked for use on most carriers and in the US it supports AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon with LTE 4G, among others. It has a 12.3MP rear camera with large pixel sites for better low light photos and a front 8MP camera. It has the usual dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. Other goodies include front facing stereo speakers, pure Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the promise of quick OS updates and an ample 3450 mAh battery with quick charging. The price starts at $499.
